Organic non-GMO Spinach (Bloomsdale Long Standing) Seeds.

To germinate: Plant evenly 1/2” deep in regular well-draining potting mix in full sun/partial shade and don’t overwater. Spinach prefers cooler climates, and this particular variety does best in winter. In fact, if it’s too warm, they’re likely to “bolt”. They should germinate for you within 5-10 days. Thin the seedlings so that they’re at least 2” apart. Spinach is a fast-growing plant, and as such would benefit from some fertilizing.

The plants will be ready to harvest in ~45 days. The best method for doing so is to harvest the outer, older leaves so that the younger leaves have time to grow in.

This variety has dark, glossy, and crumpled leaves that work great in salads or in cooking.
